Thank you for helping this tour is organised by us to make our trip so wonderful, and thanks to everyone involved!

The Moroccan is creating a combined attempt to educate people about the surroundings. That is plenty of trash in Morocco and it's a slow process supporting individuals to change habits also to become more environmentally conscious. Plastic bags were banned a year ago and that's made a major difference. We bring litter to collect on the way, when we venture off the beaten track to quite remote beaches.

Famous visitors over the years were Winston Churchill Orson Welles and Jimi Hendrix. In the last week of June each year they hold a Music festival called Gnaoua here each year. Labelled by some as the Moroccan Woodstock, it's a mix of Reggae, Jazz, Rock and Gnaoua music.

For the walking was Marrakech, who as your guide indicated wasn't too talkative, suited us perfectly, the guide organised. We could determine where to go around the 1st day and after that plan for the 2nd day. A superb induction into the foothills. My husband is thinking of returning in another year to perhaps scale Mt Toubkal. The picnic lunch was excellent with wonderful mint tea provided. We didn't want 1/3 of the food provided.

This road begins well and deteriorates some miles outside Kaolack. Survey crews are working it along in the moment, in advance of a brand new road being constructed. We also found in Kaolack that the challenging Tambacounda to Kaolack road is also being reconstructed.

눉This time it was the lack of interest of the staff concerning the guests. When you eat the breakfast in this amazing little >palaceenjoy it. When they let a guest include a towel around his waste to eat breakfast, the ambiance ( at least for us) is absolutely spoiled. And if you have bunch of families with screaming kids - the same thing. The luxury peaceful heaven, that you pay lots of money for, is gone, Only another resort that was standard. I am not certain we shall visit anymore.

Of course the read more highlight is a camel trek to the Sahara remaining in a desert camp overnight. The cost for the tour is £650/8000DH/ based on two people travelling, staying in en-suite accommodation in great hotels, including meals(desert night is included). The resorts have exceptional food. Guide - Marrakech.. from the army... so I hope this description locates him back!)We LOVED Marrakech !!! He knew just just how to drive on us to our limits, although not over exert us while trekking the challenging terrain. We loved learning regarding the mountain method of day to day living, and were completely taken back when he shared a number of his personal family stories with us and humbled. Out of our 12 days in Morocco, we think back to our time spent with Marrakech the most, and certainly will always consider these 3 days in the High Atlas the most notable highlight of our trip.

The remainder of the trip Chez Momo was wonderful and good food, but we did not really want to only hang around by the pool after the previous days' trekking. Therefore we called Mohamad and organized the trip up to Tin Mal. It was nice that we managed to do that and pay later. I think Chez Momo's not on your standard itineraries. If it's, a few suggestions about things to do in the region might have helped - even just to visit inside and everywhere the way to walk down to the village.

My buddy and that I had the good fortune to work with Marrakech on a 2 week trip through Morocco. I can not say enough to commend Marrakech! His understanding of the country is great! He's considerate and kind...his English is excellent so that was so helpful in communication. For girls traveling, I believed Marrakech was that security blanket that's so good to travel in places so not the same as the U.S. I hope to rely on them on a future trip to Morocco and would highly recommend Marrakech and his company .
